Overview

This tool allows you to download multiple files from different URLs and automatically compress them into a single ZIP file for easier handling. It's ideal for downloading collections of images, documents, or other files from your Bubble application.

Objective

To simplify the downloading of multiple files selected by the user, avoiding the need to download them one by one and providing a smooth user experience with visual progress indicators.

Fields

1. filename

• Description: The name you want to give to the ZIP file that will contain all downloaded files.
• Example: "my_images" (will become "my_images.zip")
• Note: You don't need to include the .zip extension, it will be added automatically.

2. selectedurls

• Description: List of URLs of the files you want to download. Must be a Bubble list.
• Example: List of URLs like "https://example.com/image1.jpg", "https://example.com/image2.png"
• Limitations: Maximum 500 URLs, total maximum size 100MB.

3. filenames

• Description: List of custom names for each file. Must exactly match the number of URLs.
• Example: "company_logo", "catalog_cover"
• Note: If a name is not provided for any file, "imageX" will be used (where X is the index number).

Behavior

1. Displays a progress indicator in the top right corner throughout the process.
2. Validates URLs and downloads files in parallel for increased speed.
3. Automatically compresses all downloaded files into a ZIP.
4. Initiates the download of the ZIP file when ready.
5. Notifies the user when the download is complete or if an error occurs.
